Osho

Sat Jan 17, 2026 8:46 pm

Hearing a lot of good reports about his performance today, as well as Chambers.

I have defended Osho even when he was struggling because we know he's a good player, I thought he was good last week too until a shaky moment at the end.

He was always going to come good and seems he's really finding his feet now in this team. He's proven in the past at other clubs how good he is and he's still at a good age. Can see him being huge for the rest of the season.

Obviously he has to show consistency but good that he's becoming the player that most of us thought we'd signed.

He's also quick for a CB, which would be crucial in the Championship if we get promoted.

I'm sure the last few performances he's put in would have done his confidence a world of good.
Can't have been easy for him making those shocking mistakes earlier on in the season.
You can tell he's a decent player. Great to see him doing well

100% agree with you about Osho. He was always going to become good for us. I told people to give him a chance and give him time. Now he is showing us what a good player he is. Not everybody can adapt quickly to a new team and a new way of playing style. I think Chambers has been quality for us this season. For me personally though I think our 2 central defenders should be Lawlor and Osho. Lawlor often starts moves off by playing passes through midfield up to the forward players.

Great win again. Keep up the great work boyos.

Shows he has bottle to bounce back after a couple of shocking mistakes. Deserves tremendous credit as does BBM and his coaching staff. Tremendous job, they are doing .

Fans were writing him off too quickly. It's the same with Turnbull Everyone expects instant results in modern football. Both players are better than League One.

Haven't long got back from Bradford. Osho was superb today. Hopefully thosequick enough to stick the knife in can offer him the praise he deserves when he plays well.

His match fitness is getting better as the season goes on.

I'm honestly not trying to point score with this thread or have a go at those that criticised him. Because he did make some bad mistakes at first.

But he's clearly a good player and is obviously showing it now.

It's just taken him a few games to show how good he is, a bit like Chambers in a way.

Lots of us have been critical of Osho and rightfully so. He was poor when he first got here and I'm still not completed converted yet.

What I loved about him today though was the aggression and determination he showed to win that header in the first half (to nearly make it 3 nil) and block that shot deep in the 2nd half to keep our lead. That was true fighting spirit/wear your heart on your sleeve stuff. Nothing and no1 was gonna get to those balls before him, it was brilliant. If he's got that sort of attitude in his locker then he could be a fan favourite before long!

That's totally fair. He has made bad mistakes in games but I've backed him because he's clearly a great defender. Maybe taken him a bit of time to settle back into British football because he's been in France for a year.

Sounds like he was excellent today and hopefully he can build from that.

I believe in him because he's a defender that did well in the Premier League and will be an asset as his confidence increases. Also a great age to perform well. Only with us really because he knows BBM from Rochdale.

He's a class act.. like Gary Bennett and Mark Delaney were. And Bruno.

Has a good game yesterday he did Ned to be fair to him he's getting better :bluescarf:

Knew he’d come good.

I understand why some people had their doubts, but you don’t just turn into a poor footballer over night, especially at his age.

If he can do it in the prem, league one is no issue for him.

We are very lucky at cb, 4 cbs that would walk into any team in this league and few above.

This honestly isnt meant as slight at this post mate it’s more towards the utter rubbish I’ve seen from some of our fans on social media is ridiculous.

Completely agree with you. As the season goes on he’s only gonna get better I feel

Deserved to be dropped earlier in the season, but appears to have learned from the mistakes and is becoming a great asset.
We need this if Lawlor leaves in the summer.

Repaying the faith BBM has in him. Seems like a genuinely decent guy too.

Lawlor leaving is inevitable. If most of the top 6 and Bayern Munich are looking at him we won't be able to keep him. The best we can hope for is him getting loaned back to us for a bit.

Osho obviously just needed to get some confidence back after his bad start, looks a very good player

Re: Osho

I’m sure we signed him on a permanent contract but someone said ‘if we’re lucky we may get to keep him for next season’ or something similar.

Re: Osho

I'll admit I was worried when I saw his name on the team sheet yesterday because i knew Bradford were going to press us and that's where most of his mistakes have come from

But I voted him motm yesterday because I thought he was brilliant and he showed us all the kind of shift he can put in

It's like having a new signing now and with tanner back and colwill hopefully back earlier than expected I'm very confident we will all be happy come end of the season

Fantastic at the back alongside Chambers. A tactical master-stroke from BBM. I’m BBM we trust

Re: Osho

He was excellent yesterday. Looks very confortable in a 1on1 battle. He always tries to keep the ball, where sometime Chambers knows you need to hoof it or rowZ it, but we have 4 promotion-standard centre backs who are all now in form. Very important player for the run in. Get a song going for him, he's giving us 100%!
