VOTE: MAN of the MATCH v Bradford City (Away)

Vote your Man of the Match versus Bradford City (Away - Sat 17th Jan. 2026 @ 12:30 pm)

A brilliant start and a super first-half display from the Bluebirds, saw us storm into a two-goal lead with a superb strike from David Turnbull and a very good goal from Calum Chambers; both set up by Ollie Tanner

Bradford were clearly rattled but we failed to take further advantage, although Gabriel Osho was exceptionally unlucky not to get his first in a Bluebird shirt

Some excellent performances today, with Tanner taking the first-half before understandably tiring, and the likes of Turnbull, Wintle, and Salech doing more than their bit!

However, for his all round performance, and leadership in a very tough game, today I’ve gone for Bluebirds captain, Calum Chambers! :ayatollah:

I’m starting to fall in love with Chambers :ayatollah:

Callum Chambers.

Got a goal. Won every header. Dug in. Showed composure when needed. He was everywhere this afternoon.

Osho, Bagan, Wintle, Tanner and Turnbull also had quality games.

Very gutsy today. Quality when it mattered.

My apologies, Joel Bagan added, but it wiped away the earlier votes (12 in total) so can those who are able, please vote again! :ayatollah:

All of them for me , two sides who shouldn't be in this league , also bringing fish on was just what we needed , well done each and everyone of you

I am not sure whether Osho was my MoM on merit or I am so happy he is starting to settle in and become the player io thought we'd bought.

Bagan & Chambers were solid

Tanner makes such a difference as he is so bloody direct !!!!!!

Chambers was great, can see why he's getting the votes.

Gave mine to Turnbull though, thought he was the calming influence on the ball today, especially in that scrappy 2nd half when we struggled to keep hold of it.

Gave it to osho, as he had a point to prove from last weeks f.ck up with trot, and against bradford at home, so a lot of pressure on him and he did' nt put a foot wrong well done to the lad, he gets my vote, with the added pressure in his head thought he held it together.

FotMob have Chambers as MOTM.

Good to hear Osho played well, do think he's been improving every game and looking more like the player that has been great in the past.

Big moment for Turnbull to get his first league goal of the season too.

Have been critical of Osho but thought he was immense today.

We forget that players are human like the rest of us and it can take time to settle into a new club and a new environment and making a mistake in his first game will have made things a little harder for him but he's shown real character to get himself back into the team and today's performance was easily his best as a Bluebird.

Loved seeing him celebrating with the away fans at the end too! :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Long may it continue - well done Osho!

Osho. Growing into the team now. With him, Lawlor, Chambers and Fish making a great defensive pairing whoever gets the nod, looks good for the (only) 20 games left.

Our centre backs were superb, heading and kicking everything away.

I went for Chambers as he dealt with everything and got the goal, but Osho did a superb, courageous block on 80 minutes, throwing himself in front of the shot. That's the type of defending required to get us promotion.

Bradford's goal was a superb strike, but it's yet another corner we've given them time and space on the edge of the box to shoot. We really need to learn and address that.

We defended superbly overall though and after giving away soft goals in our previous two away games, it was great to see us digging in and winning ugly for once. It's a big step forwards.

Ross, he’s a proper leader, and he cajoles the players around him to up their games without dropping their heads when mistakes are made! :ayatollah:
