I trust BBM to bring in who he thinks he needs. I’d rather one or two quality players than four or five mercenaries

Re: Plenty More Wages Saved and More to Go:

GoalKeeper Harry Tyrer has agreed to join Cardiff City on a permanent transfer - subject to a medical.

The deal is likely to go through next week as Cardiff are currently under a transfer embargo.

Their is NO Fee involved.

Simon,

Yes I Trust him as well, but his hands are tied as NO Money Available to him.

The Hierarchy have Never backed him with Money and even got us in a Transfer Embargo for the 4th time.

Under the Circumstances BBM has done a Fantastic Job.

I wish more fans could see that we are not been backed when was the last time we heard from Tan or dalhman all we know is we are cutting things to the bone since the end of last season ,and if our hopes are for 2/3players in ,
lets get them in ASAP we have a big game the weekend is kellyman in ? We are all happy with what .Murphy has done but the board are not helping matters at all.
And the silence is ince again deafening.

Monty,

There has been NO Backing from the Hierarchy all season.

I fear if he does not go this Summer

I 100% agree players should be coming in by now.

Agree with this. But also agree that it's unlikely we'll spend loads this window.

But I don't really want us to if I'm honest. Buying players in January is always tricky because prices are inflated. We got a good one with Salech last year but they're a rarity.

Always said I'd be happy with 2 or 3, in addition to Tyrer now he's coming in. Left back and a winger, I'll be pleased.

Better to spend in the summer when we are hopefully a Championship club and can attract better players. Whether this owner will spend is a different matter though.

I honestly don't think we need much this window. Don't forget we have Tanner back and Rubin coming back in a few weeks. LB is a necessity and I'd like to see a winger (maybe one that can also play as a striker) too like I say.

The players that have left and the ones that will continue to go out this month doesn't bother me because they wouldn't be part of the team anyway.

This is what happens when you get scumbags running the club, hopefully they'll be gone soon.

Three MLS clubs are pushing to sign Cardiff keeper Ethan Horvath on a free. Minnesota appear the favourites to sign the USA international, who is looking for game time ahead of the World Cup.

Worcester
agree with a lot there ,players going would not have featured but we have shed hell of a lot since last season but not much in ,
In comparison we must have moved out or off the wage bill 25 players,
only reason why I want a few loan players in is to make sure we have cover, when players are injured and in the right positions.
Example
with rubin out and possibly kellyman we have no other in that position a creator playmaker.

If this is what happens when the clown show stays away then long may it continue, can't argue with being where we are. They should just ask BBM what he would like & give it to him, then f*^k off back to wherever they're hiding.

Totally agree with this......assuming the transfer embargo does get lifted, which assumes we will get our act together re: filing the accounts.

I don't trust these clowns one iota. Well done to BBM for getting us where we are with one hand tied behind his back. :bluebird:

We can’t keep loaning all our fringe players out and not sign anyone surely?we need bodies

Are they reslly ‘fringe’ players?

BBM has given his reasons for loaning certain players out, and much of it is to gain the experience he feels they are currently lacking!

The talented Mafico possibly the best example (there are more) as has had chances in the first team, yet hasn’t really convinced BBM his time is now!

I’m in agreement with most, that we need a couple of fresh faces to see us through this season, but they must be of similar or better quality to those already doing a grand job!

Quality loans are fine in my opinion, and we can worry about next season (and the owner) once we know where that will be! :ayatollah:

I do wonder are you delusional at times Ned. If you think we don't need anyone then what if 3 or 4 first teamers go down you'll see a difference in results as who's coming in to play who's the same or better. It's funny every time there's a window or something pops up Your one of the first to say "but we are top of the league " or " plenty of time left yet " an defend anything, it's the same every window you play the same violin along with some others but If we was mid table you would be saying differently. Everyone can see we need body's in either equal or better quality to push us on. Things will turn sour should such things happen with players injured, sickness, sold or whatever and we don't get body's in most can see that the manager won't be backed properly to what he wants despite what he spins in interviews, he has to but that's even if we get out of this embargo that miraculously come around a few days in to the window. The club clowns are en embarrassing bunch of cockends.

No argument that the club are run by clowns.

But you were one of those in the summer who were saying it would be a bad season because of only three signings. I'm paraphrasing but that's how you were talking, so maybe you're the delusional one.

I don't see anything wrong with me saying judge the squad when the window is complete.

Fact is the players that have left wouldn't get anywhere near the first team.

As for new signings, there's the goalkeeper Tyrer that is done. Biancheri strongly linked too. That's two for a start.

People need to realise that our manager genuinely wants a squad that is quite small for the many reasons he's given that I can't be bothered to say again. Until they understand that, they'll never understand our transfer business.

Because it actually makes sense.

it's also possible that bbm is about to use 99% of his budget up on one player

Now I don't believe for 1 second the club will back bbm big but the last 2 January windows we've found the money for turnbull then Salech last year and if the rumors are to be believed (which I don't) bbm wants to add more goals to his team and had his eyes on Motherwells striker/winger who's scored 12 goals so far this season, so I'm holding off for now until I see how the next 2 weeks unfold

Yes I can be delusional at times can't we all ned

The summer we got a manager who nobody really knew, let droves of players leave and many thought the same though how we going to cope with younger ones, what's left and some loans but in truth BBM has done a fanatic job to date which we can all agree on.

The problem i have is if we get 3 or 4 injuries and there out for weeks on end who's steepping in. Some of the players who have gone out on loan that don't get near the first team and only played in that shitty vertu trophy but some have not who went out on loan they have been on the bench this season at times so who's stepping in should we get injury's. We need body's better or equal to what we got for sure maybe 3 or 4 I'd say although there's two weeks left so we shall see if the club are serious or not about backing BBM if this embargo is lifted in time although I have my doubts.

There's no better time than now to get players in where we are in the league but as we all know this transfer embargo hit us it's as if the club are taking the piss out of us. Unprofessional at best. I also don't believe for one minute BBM is happy with a smaller squad and even smaller now despite what he says ( that's his job keep the peace ) if it turns sour because we don't bring in players to better us and players leave or get injured we will fall off I believe and the club will be to blame because we didn't do the above. Not the manager because he's got handcuffs on for sure. That's my issue.
