Jake Evans Leicester City

I'm not one for petty Rumours, but have heard some pretty strong info from decent sources (dont ask) that were looking at this kid.

Also looking to take a Hamilton kid on loan.

Can anyone in the know give any further credibility?

Seems he's 17 years old and a forward.

I guess BBM would have worked with him at Leicester.

Four league appearances for Leicester, I'm assuming from the bench.

Interesting! Seems young, but look at our youngsters who have come good this season, and reading a quick bio, Leicester have high hopes for him!

Trust in BBM either way! :ayatollah:

He's massively highly thought of at Leicester, there supporters believe he should be in there match day squad as most say he is already to good to play at u21 level, this kid has pace to burn and can play out wide or through the middle would be a interesting signing

Sounds really exciting prospect!

This is what the Leicester website says, although he’s yet to appear this season in the Leicester City first team:

An exciting young prospect, Jake Evans made his senior City debut in the Premier League at the age of 16 years 234 days, coming on as a late substitute in the 2-2 draw away to Brighton & Hove Albion on 12 April, 2025.

The forward, who can play in all positions across the front but often as a winger, joined the Club at Under-9s level and has quickly risen through the ranks. A highlight from May 2024 came when he scored twice in the Under-16s Premier League Cup Final at King Power Stadium, including a stunning strike during extra-time to overcome Manchester City.

That came after a return of seven goals in 15 matches for the Under-18s that season. In 2024/25, meanwhile, the Northampton-born youngster impressed for the Development Squad, and was handed his chance in the Under-21s side having netted a brace on the opening day of the U18 Premier League South season.

Ten Premier League 2 goals followed across 14 matches, leading to his inclusion in the First Team matchday squad at Brighton, having debuted for England Under-16s back in April 2024
