Shame that Ronnie has pulled out for a second successive year.
Not quite the same buzz when he's not playing. I do fear the worst though in terms of how long will he keep on playing.
I hope I'm wrong because even at the age of 50, when he's on top form noone can touch him.

Murphy didn't turn up today however not going to take anything away from that young lad Wu Yize. He looks like a very decent positive attacking player.

My money this year is on Zhao Xintong to win and to complete the tripple crown.
Beautiful player to watch when in full flow. Effortless and classy and In my opinion the best by a long way of the Chinese lads.

Just switched over to it for the first time this tournament.

I thought Selby would win it but looks like he's heading out at the first hurdle.

But my first thought now I'm watching it is how bad the camera angle of the table is. It makes it look like a square table and just doesn't look right, hope they're able to change the camera angle to how it normally is as the tournament goes on.

The fact the carpet is black doesn't help how the table looks either.
