Got to be honest, we were terrible in the first half an hour. Were fortunate to only be 1-0 down after that spell.
Did improve after Salech's brilliant goal and started the second half better.
Some may see it as an opportunity missed but you could also say if you can't win, then don't lose.
Think a draw was a fair result in the end.
It's a point on the road, which is always helpful. But I understand if people say we should have won.
A very difficult trip to Bradford next up.

Terrible result. If we want to win the league we need to beat teams like Leyton Orient.

What absolute rubbish, a draw away from home is always a good result & we're top of the league in case you missed it.

A terrible result would be losing, come on give the boys some slack. We totally gifted their goal and they played like it was their cup final. That point may be very valuable at the end of the season
Sat Jan 10, 2026 5:07 pm
Not a bad result. Would have obviously liked the win but Orient are a good side and turned up to play football unlike a lot of teams in this league. Can't believe they are where they are in the league tbh
Sat Jan 10, 2026 5:07 pm
Makes a nice change to play a side that just want to sit back and be boring. Orient well deserving of their lead and played some good football. Draw was a fair result on balance but we were poor by our standards.
I think we should have left tanner on a bit longer. Kpakio spilled the ball a bit down that left side which stifled some attacks. Maybe leave on bagan or ------- even put tanner there

Bad result but not terrible, yes we should be winning games but a draw away is ok

Agreed. That f**k up in the 94th min was poor and nearly lost us the game. And a few in the first. He had some quality 1on1 battles won, but still adding to his lowlights reel.
Sat Jan 10, 2026 5:10 pm
The referee allowed it to be much more of a physical battle and we struggled to deal with it.
Sometimes you have to give the opposition credit. Orient worked really hard closing us down and a draw was a fair result.
Take the point and move on.
Sat Jan 10, 2026 5:13 pm
We were poor today but didn't lose and that could turn out to be an important point which personally I didnt think we deserved, we will need to be a lot better next week

AGREED. A point was a fair result.
ALSO a word of praise for the ref. He didnt get every decision right, but he tried to let the game flow AND HE (and the linesman) GOT THE KEY DECISION RIGHT. It would have been easy to be too hasty and to fall for scumbag Archibalds attempts to get Tanner sent off!

Are we still drifting towards mid table?

Osho with a 7.4 rating:
Dispossessed - 0
Clearances - 9
Recoveries - 5
Interceptions - 1
Tackles - 2
5/7 duels won
40/43 passes completed
But some will choose to ignore that because they have an agenda against him - like they did with Chambers.

Yep! He also says Leyton Orient were ‘
crap’ on the Matchday thread! They certainly were not!

Wow! Did his job very well, although my MotM vote went to Robertson
He’s coming on big time now!

Osho played well, I thought tanner was good to was nice to have a proper winger beating the full back
One thing I will say is, orient are decent at home Lincoln and Bradford have both lost there this season, we didn't and that was one of our worse performances this season so today was not as bad as it could of been

Haha this is why I love football, I thought he was rubbish today. Didn’t do anything.

I agree too. Just don't see it with him if I'm honest. Thought the game was begging to have Callum Robinson on for Robertson 20 minutes before that. A draw is fine though we certainly didn't play well enough to win it
Sat Jan 10, 2026 5:45 pm
Osho played like the player i thought we were getting
I thought we set up a bit different today that didn't work until Turnbull who is more of an 8 than Kellyman sub'd him.
Sat Jan 10, 2026 5:51 pm
Hopefully Kellymans injury isn't too bad would be bad to have both him and rubin out for a few more weeks I'd like ballard in our team every time I've watched him he's looked excellent, come on Vincent get the check book out lol

Wasn’t talking about their performance. They are a crap team in general, a team we should be beating.

I’m well aware of the league table. I didn’t say we are having a terrible season did I?

We need to find a way of starting Robinson. We miss so many chances.

Oh my the way Osho got dispossed at the end that nearly lost us the game. So much for your dispossessed fact.

In terms of home form, they are just outside of playoffs, only away from home their record lets them down (second from bottom). We have no right to expect 3pts away from home from any side and they played some good football with some big heart today.
Their captain was a bell-end, but they got a couple of very tidy players.
Ballard was very, very good and always rated Jack Simpson and its such a shame what when on when he was with us, it was right to let him go, but glad he's put that behind him and is still a decent player. Good to see Tom James doing well as well and he is another tidy player at this level. I thought Alfie Lloyd was impressive as well, gave Perry the run-around the first 15 minutes or so.
Deffo not a crap team and will pull away from the bottom easily imo and finish mid-table.

No he wasn't. The ball wasn't under anyone's possession at the time.
Sat Jan 10, 2026 8:16 pm
Another howler costing us more points today. That's 4 points we've dropped at Wycombe and Leyton Orient.
We were also very lucky home to Stevenage as they had a perfectly good goal disallowed. Lincoln are only 4 points behind us because we gifted them their win, failing to defend a basic corner.
I know we kept a clean sheet against Wigan, but we had 82% possession. We have a problem when we don't control games and teams are allowed to get at us. We can't handle it and we concede so many soft goals. It's not good enough.
This league is so poor, we should never be in this division and we should be miles clear at the top already, but no team gives away the soft goals we do. This is why we came bottom last season and we are giving the rest of the teams a chance. No team lost more points from winning positions than us last season.
This transfer embargo is clearly a delaying tactic to not sign anyone this transfer window. It will be the excuse to disrupt us enough to "miss out" on our supposed "targets". If other teams strengthen and we keep gifting away soft goals, we can easily mess up promotion. If we fail to go straight back up, we will have to start selling our best players and then we could be stuck at this level for a very long time.
Leyton Orient played well and deserved their point.
