Voting is, of course subjective, and it’s worth pointing out that whilst Yousef Salech played well in December and ran away with the Huddersfield game, Alex Robertson, Joel Bagan, and Omari Kellyman had more exposure throughout the month

However, Yousef Salech is surely worth a vote as the only Bluebird who can win the accolade and to keep the award ‘in house’?

My point was having a go at the EFL people that pick the nominees but the usual posters verbally attack me with abuse because they think I'm having a pop at Salech.

Mike, no worries. I could see where you were coming from, and I found some of the comments towards you more than a little odd. I’ve not seen you being ‘personal’, just honest and forthright in your views

The background evidence suggests Robertson and Bagan were more consistent over the period, and I would add Nathan Trott into the mix, even though he was not on the list above

I think the (usually good) poster above should apologise, or at least adjust his tone going forward. Sadly, there does seem to be a trend with a few posters (one in particular of late) resorting to personally abusing others when their own comments are picked up on, simply because they don’t have it in them to debate back!

I've had a lot of abuse over my Salech opinions and maybe I saw red when I should have kept quiet.

I love a good debate and we all have our views and opinions on games, players, managers etc but there's never any need for personal abuse which I've had plenty of.
