Completely hypothetical question but who would have scored the most this season, given the identical chances created?
My mate reckoned we’d be another 3-5 points clear if we had Moore but I disagreed YS has far better movement and fits the team better imo.
As I said, completely hypothetical.

I think currently Moore would have scored more goals But still very happy with Salech

Moore at 23 then Salech, but the Moore who was with us would be in double figure already.... Salech is still all potential

I like Salech, he’s doing well for us and you can’t argue he’s the league’s top scorer (although one or two try) but Moore would without doubt have scored more goals in my opinion.
When I look at the headers that Salech misses, Moore would bury them.
Salech is actually not very good with his head.

I like Salech because though he misses a few he seems to have the ability just get to get a chance for himself. But I would have to go for Moore. As for his movement, did you see the cross he put in for Broadhead to score last week?. There is more to his game than a lot of people give him credit for.

I don’t actually agree about his movement mate.
It’s poor imo.
He usually hangs around the back post when he can see a cross coming in. Never try’s to lose his marker. Good strikers will make a run to the near post etc.
Saying that, he’s young and I’m sure he’ll learn. He has the potential.

An excellent cross but I meant closing down, runs and energy levels.

Moore is currently better than Salech, so Moore.
But that's partly because Moore has reached his peak. Salech is nowhere near his peak because of his age.
I think Salech at his peak will be better than Moore at his peak.

If you look up mercenary in the dictionary I'm sure you'll find a picture of Moore, wouldn't want him anywhere near our club again. Salech is only 23 & should improve (we hope), Moore is no where near as good as people remember, he had Harry Wilson feeding him for his one good season with us & he has never been close to that season since. Still holds the world record for the most times getting Covid in a couple of months though.

Moore a better goal scorer.
Salech a better team player.
Tue Jan 06, 2026 6:40 pm
To make a fair comparison we would have to look at what kiefer was doing when he was 23 which was scoring 7 goals for Dorchester
Salech at 23 has scored more goals at a higher level so whilst kiefer is a more complete target man than Salech at the moment let's see where Salech is in 5 years

I don't hate him, I just don't like the guy & think he's over rated on here after 1 good season & that he let the fans down when he downed tools & sat on his arse. You need to get over your love affair with him, take a pill and have a good one too monty.

That's easy......Moore without a shadow of a doubt.
Salech can't head the ball and won't get anywhere near the quality of Moore until he learns to head the ball like a professional footballer and not like an under 10's village player.

Cam't really compare because both are similar players. Moore maybe got a little bit more physical strength but other than that they are similar.

Can't compare because they're similar? That's literally a reason to compare them.

Moore is scoring so many goals for Wrexham at a higher level.

Moore currently, but Salech has age on his side.
Sat Jan 10, 2026 3:35 pm

Beat me to it.

I think Moore would have probably bagged 3 or 4 more than Salech this year. It's still been a very good season for Salech though and he's a better player at 23 than Moore was
Sun Jan 11, 2026 9:57 am
That’s a tough one. Salech for me purely on potential. Kieffer would never have scored that goal yesterday.

Very good point. I think Salech develops into more of a well rounded striker.

Moore wouldn’t have scored the goal that Salech did today.
