Referee rating - marks out of ten

Extremely inconsistent I thought.

Made some strange decisions too.

But not as bad as some recent ones we've had, I'll say 5.

Some very strange decision especially when he gave the Wigan keeper a free kick after he dropped the ball. But he was better than the ref on NY day so I'll give him a middle of the road 5 as well.
