We have the best points tally in theentire EFL at just under 2.1 points per game

Only Coventry (of the remaining 71 teams) have an average above 2, so whatever our occasional complaints about games we should have won (like yesterday), we should take our hats off to the team and management for achieving a remarkable record at the half way stage

I always look at promotion teams taking an average of 2 points a game, as history shows that is usually enough

We are doing above that right now, and it’s keeping us ahead of the chasing pack, and limiting those clubs who can/might compete with us in the second half of the season

Everyone should be delighted, but some are doing a pretty good job at working hard to still be miserable.

Just for some extra info., The year we were promoted under Malky's team @ 23 games, we were 1st., with 47 points and a goal difference of +16. Pretty close to where we are now.
