In truth, he could have had a hattrick. He missed a sitter just after Stevenage scored and should have done better with another chance.
But I will say his all round play is good for a striker, he's doing better at not engaging with defenders as much so not giving as many fouls away.
In a strange way I think he's more suited to the Championship because of the way he plays.
But these are all minor problems and we all need to remember that strikers don't tend to peak until they're 27 or 28.
Salech is 23 (24 in a few weeks) so is still learning and looks to have a very high career ceiling. We will definitely make a big profit on him when he does leave. Don't see that being in January, but wouldn't be surprised to see big offers in the summer.

Our wingers with the possible exception of Davies always turn inside hence cutting down or delaying crosses. He spends most of every game wrestling with the centre half getting hardly any joy from most referees and his work rate is tremendous. If his heading which is his strength was a tad more on target you could easily add another 6 goals this season.

Not just that, his attitude is first class. He appreciates the fans and certainly appears to love being here. Consistent with his workrate and always committed.
What really stands out for me is last season when someone was taken ill in the crowd. He was first over the sidings to help.
Sure he misses a few but hes still young and improving. With players like watters, kanga, etete etc that have preceded him, I think its clear who is the better player.
A brilliant signing for us.

Exactly but some say he misses a few chances!![]()
He’s relatively new to the country, young and learning.
Not sure if they want Haaland to join us

Sick of saying it but the stats don't back that up. The fact he's had the most "big chances" of anyone in the league just shows that the argument doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

Yes I agree, very caring and genuine and he wants to play for us and it means a lot to him when he scores.

I think what he's saying is that a lot of crosses are late so he's having to adjust his neck or bend lean backwards than a straight forward in front of him run on to header. Arguments for both sides I guess

Big chances doesn't tell you anything about the quality of individual crosses. It's also a misunderstood stat. Haaland leads the prem in "big chances" missed
