A forum for all things Cardiff City

For many years our youth set up and pathway to the 1st team for the kids was poor. I didnt rate any of our youngsters. Not one.
They were weak, overawed, little skill or confidence and bullied very easily. Always playing the easy pass.
To save retyping, the opposite is now true. Im sending this message as I have again witnessed a team trying to bully our kids and weve stood up and been counted. Given the bruises out as well as received them.
Also, its becoming a little habit to be a little confrontational after the game. It shows maturity that for 90 minutes we keep our head, but the after the game, and after the job is finished we can then show our toughness..
Were ready as a team. The mentality is spot on. Do the job, deal with idiots after.

I know we are playing in league 1 but I haven't enjoyed watching a Cardiff team play football like this since the Dave Jones era.
The football at times today, especially in the first half was class

Yep, our ‘kids’ are maturing, and improving as the season goes on!

We still have a few good kids (in football terms) in our squad and probably the youngest team in the league.
It’s all down to our manager and hopefully we can see them improve and progress as time goes on.
