Almost gave a ‘10’ but remembered he was no Bo Derek, so settled on a 9 (as is life)
Certainly the best I’ve seen thus season, and he allowed the game to flow before pulling up any ‘offenders’
Of course, the fact we won would have had an influence, as with all referees!

I thought he did okay & gave him an 8, not as good as the new guy we had a week or two ago but good enough to say "why can"t they all be like this?".

Not the best but a long way off the worst.
People say the refs don’t affect the outcome. But I disagree. When we are consistently being denied blatant free kicks and legitimate shouts for pens
It disrupts our flow, gives the opponents chance to regroup and even catch us cold when we have had players taken out. It absolutely affects results.
If turner had been awarded a free kick last week would we have lost? Maybe. Maybe not. But it absolutely changed the flow meaning we had to hugely change our set up to chase the game.
So no. Not the worst. But certainly not the best. Maybe 7?
