Never seen that one before.
Instead of passing back to the goalie or centre half to launch the ball forward they put the kick off straight into touch by our corner flag.
I guess the idea is to get them up the field as quickly as possible and they'd obviously done their homework and realised that most of our throw-in's go straight to an opposition player which is what happened today.
Also, I find it strange that for a team that plays a heavily possession based game we always play our kick offs back to a centre half to lump the ball towards Salech's bonce rather than keeping possession and building from midfield.

It’s a new thing to apparently press the other team high in their own half. Didn’t work at all.

Makes me laugh. Pep or someone of similar ilk does it so everyone else copies!! If Warnock had done it then everyone would have criticised it. Same as the long throw. All Premier league clubs are doing it now

It use to mean a player was betting on the time of the first throw in.

Cardiff Met did the same yesterday against Barry. Its the new fad. In parks football teams being doing it since game was invented.

Seen this before and betting scandle involved. Throwing in 1st 5 seconds. Not saying that's what happened, but???
