Just a thought.
The pitch looks pretty poor .
Is it down to less investment.?
I know we have had a lot of rain but it definitely doesn't look
As good as normal ?

Under the circumstances, it’s holding up very well and, credit to the grounds staffs, we’ve always had one of the better playing surfaces in whichever League we are in

When you think of how many games it's had on it including internationals and the 2 cup runs, it's still one of the best in the league.

Harsh on ground staff that mate. Our pitch is always known for being 1 of best in championship so credit where credit due this season with amount of games and rain

Having watched a couple of the early games yesterday, I was surprised how poor theirs were compared to ours and thought it’s holding up well tbh.

It's probably not used to the ball travelling on the deck every game rather than being hoofed up in the air every game as it has for many a season

In all seriousness the pitch is looking good in my opinion

TBF I think willhenry is saying it's not up to the usual high standards ATM and he may have a point but I'm sure the grounds staff will get it back to its best.

I thought the same. Looked a bit threadbare in places which is unusual for us. Could be that the exceptionally dry summer has effected its growth.

I’m sure it got fully redone last season with the plastic etc, Deso Should last up to 10 years and considering the pitch that was done before the start of last season was the one that was laid when the stadium was first built.
