BBM HAS SOME BIG INJURY WORRIES:

For Fridays Boxing Day Game at Home 3pm

BBM:

"We have enough players to cope no matter what so we'll be fine."

Calum Chambers, Joel Bagan and Will Fish have all become ill, with midfielder David Turnbull also suffering with a groin injury.

Nathan Trott, who missed the defeat by Lincoln City, has also not trained yet and is still a doubt

Tanner expected to play some of this game

Rubin Colwill out till about March / April

Eli King out for the season

“Gabriel Osho was back on the pitch today, and if he continues to progress well, he could be back within a week or so, but he’s not back in full training yet.”

BBM:

Asked if the players would feature against the Grecians on Boxing Day, he added:

"Will Fish was ill at the game on Saturday, the same for Joel Bagan, so those guys are almost three days ahead of Calum Chambers and we haven't seen them train yet, so I don't know, but hopefully they can make an appearance today or on Christmas Day of some sort and see if they can be available.

Like he says, we can cope so not a huge issue.

But would be helpful if a couple of these players can train tomorrow.

He's not said they're out. He said he'll see if they'll train tomorrow.

Which is what I referenced in my post.

Did anyone say what was wrong with Trott? :?

I assumed it was a knock he took in the previous game, but I’m not sure anything has been confirmed? :?

Yeah, I watched the press conference and it was when he went down against Chelsea.

Not a serious injury though, nothing broken.

I think out of all our players, Trott is the one which would impact is the most.
For me he's not just been our best signing this season but our best signing for years

If trotts injury is a little worse than is being let on, with alnwick back in full training would you go with him or Turner until trott is back fit

Yeah he come out of his area once for a long ball over the top for a ball he could get rather than back peddling and lost all his senses so might be available for the weekend  great shot stopper and saved us many points this season already but jesus he don't leave his line on corners in the six yard box or come for balls over the top he could get he would rather have a shot at him I find :bluescarf:

Alnwick hasn't been near a football pitch all season.

Maybe you could put him on the bench to cover an emergency but it would have to be Turner for me.

Ng to cover if needed.

Thanks, Ned

I thought that, but it never seemed to be mentioned afterwards. Hopefully, he’ll be back for tomorrow

I’m not so worried about the excellent Matt Turner playing, as he is a more than capable keeper, so much as only having one keeper on our bench right now! :ayatollah:
