Shame, Ned. At least you’ll get to watch on TV with a drink and a bit of comfort!

In this day and age, I’m very surprised that there are no trains, and I’ve noticed TfW have no transport services (train or bus) on Boxing Day!

Parking is going to be at a premium for those drivers who can attend, so people need to allow plenty of time! :ayatollah:

Annis apart from worcester who does' nt drive the excuses are as usual no trains buses ,car share 4 in a car ? there should be enough fans in cardiff itself but some won' t even walk a mile to the stadium we should all be saying a big thank you to the team this season ,but it will be another half empty stadium 18,000 .

Well Bradford have sold over 22,000 and they play Wigan who are shit Supporters , they’ve sold less than Exeter have

About 20,000.
Loads of seats in family stand and grandstand not sold.
Hopefully a few more will decide to attend on the day, but a little disappointing considering we are top of the league and it's Boxing day when most people are off work and often want to get out for a few hours.
Also, the weather forecast couldn't be better.

You might be surprised at how many travel down by train/bus from the surrounding areas, as the roads and parking are a big issue in any match day, but particularly on a public holiday

I usually use the train these days for convenience, but on Boxing Day, I will have to take the car, leave early, and park well away from the stadium to make sure I’m in the ground before kick off

Many ‘regulars’ will miss out due to said lack of public transport, and on this occasion some understanding of their predicament is due! :ayatollah:

Saw on social media last night that ticket sales are going relatively well.

Would hope that it'll be 22k plus in terms of the announced crowd. But won't be surprised to see a lot of season tickets not there due to the travel situation. A lot do rely on public transport as Chris says.

That's why I unfortunately won't be there.

Others might have different things to do on Boxing Day like seeing the other half of their families that they didn't see today, which is perfectly understandable.

Hope those that are there create plenty of noise and help the team get three big points.

If we was playing Liverpool or Chelsea it would be sold out if the river taff and river Ely was flooded while blocking the M4, a470, A4232 plus the railway lines. It would still be a full house . We are not a big club as some think we are no different to any fair weather fans football club irrelevant of transport on or off :bluescarf:

We all know sadly a lot are fare weather all rolled up for the chelsea, but cannot do any other games "because".

A lot of people from the valleys won’t make it. Very few would want to drive down because of the traffic and lack of parking + can’t have a drink. They should really have the trains running these days.

Cardiff city home
Blues v Dragons
January sales start
A big day for drinkers in pubs too
Too damn right the trains should be running :banghead:

Looks like it'll be our biggest attendance in the league this season so surely people will be happy with that.

Hope there’s a big crowd today but I’m not sure why people who can’t make it are blamed. There’s a stack of reasons why.

Unfortunately I won’t be there today either.

Definitely need a win.

I agree. Some people might be seeing family etc.

Don't see why people should be shamed for doing something else on Boxing Day.

Who is been shamed? Of course people are doing different things family etc but just saying the roads are busy from the valleys no beer, there is no parking in my book is not doing somthing different.
I was simply saying
I drove through the valleysthis morning past car parks not full in town, i walked to ground and had a few zero beers,
if I was been labelled.
