Seems the obvious positions let's hope there on it, rather than another month later.

Wouldn't be suprised if we sign nobody at all

I would imagine we'll aim to bring in two or three, while keeping our best players.
We definitely need cover at LB.
I'll be pleased if the Biancheri rumour is true, he'd give us another option out wide or as a striker.

This window is more about next years ambition than this…

We need a replacement for Osho. He was brough in to fill a gap but that gap is still there.
Sat Dec 20, 2025 6:11 pm
I think if any come in ,they will be youngsters and the rumour of our Cardiff born coming bak from united could be promising but we need some experience, I have faith in BBM getting some in but not so much with TAN
We shall hope and pray

We seem to be caught out on long balls in the box
Corners free kicks long throw inside BBM semms happy with his centre backs I'm not so sure
I aegee we need a striker to convert possession into goals
Sat Dec 20, 2025 6:44 pm
Striker, left back and centre half who can dominate in the air. We are so weak with high balls and corners
Sat Dec 20, 2025 6:49 pm
For me we need
Experienced centre half - can't afford to wait for Osho to come good.
Gunnarsson type midfield dog - not really BBM's style so unlikely.
Left back cover for Bagan.
Another striker to provide cover/ competition for Salech.
Seeing as we only signed one player and two loanees over the entire summer it has to be exceedingly unlikely that any money will be available for signings during this window.
I predict one loan signing at most. Hope I'm wrong but this is Vincent Tan we're talking about remember.

The January transfer window is never about next season's ambition. Ridiculous.

We need to be careful not to upset the balance of the team with new signings, i'll never forget how Newcastle signed Aspirilla? Midseason while top of the league, they blew it and got hunted down by Man Ure

Hmmm, I’m thinking we’ll bring in a couple of ‘
loans’ to finish the job, before planning ahead for next season in the background; with options for whichever division we are in
Sat Dec 20, 2025 7:40 pm
A winger who can get behind and cross a ball .A 10 and a center half for me
Sat Dec 20, 2025 8:35 pm
We defo need cover at left back. I really like Bagan and I'm happy he's our first teamer but he can't play every game. BBM knows this.
Ideally I'd then improve the spine (a striker, cover for Wintle and a centre back). Granted though, as someone has already said, more players could upset things so it's a risk and I'm not sure BBM would want to take it.
I do worry this young team won't cope with the pressures those last 10 to 15 games will bring though. I'd love us to still sign a captain type player who has been there and done it. He hasn't got to wear the armband but it would be lovely to have a strong voice out there on the pitch to drive the players on.
Sat Dec 20, 2025 9:35 pm
We definitely need a left back and centre half
Sat Dec 20, 2025 9:42 pm
Let's hope this happens

BBM would sign half a team if he could and gets backed but they toe the party line with the media and what he's told from above. If we don't get atleast 2 or 3 good players in we desperately need them the promotion push can't be serious from the board in my opinion. There's better time to back him.
People can say that BBM don't want them but that total bollocks in my opinion he's no different to any other manager if he's got a list of players he wants then it's out of his hands for the board to get them in or not that's the bottom line.

Cover at left back is essential, but we all knew that in the summer unless BBM sees Luey Giles as the cover.
We also need a Robinson of a few seasons ago type of player. In some games, the big, cute centre halves have Salech sussed, and a more mobile striker may be the remedy. I'd love to see Davies as the alternative, but for whatever reason, BBM uses him as a wide attacking midfielder
We know Mafico and Nyakuhwa need a loan that made me think who else may leave?
I wouldn't be surprised if Robinson left to get games or if all the early-season gossip on Robertson had any truth.
I would be surprised to see Davies, Willock or Ashford sold if a decent bid came in as I don't think any of them really fit the BBM vision.

I like the look of Ollie Norwood bit of a dog in midfield who can pick a pass as a different option also would add experience for our young players??

I think he's quality in league 1 but he doesn't fit the profile bbm looks for at 34 years old, for me I'd like us to look at Charlie Savage as competition for Wintle, he's young welsh and every time I've watched him this season I've been impressed and think he fits the profile of player we are looking for this season
