CARDIFF CITY TOP OF THE LEAGUE TOOK ON 3RD PLACE LINCOLN AWAY:


Not a great Ref for either side, his 3rd ever league game and you could tell.

Hard working Lincoln in my view deserved their win.

Cardiff"s possession was not enough today, they need to create more in front oft of goal.

FIRST-HALF: Lincoln just about deserved their 1- 0 lead



18mins BBM goes in the book for indicating a Lincoln player should have got a yellow.

25mins gone and No shots for Cardiff, 4 for Lincoln.

After 30mins Cardiff plenty off possession but not creating

35mins Cardiff 70% possession not a proper shot on goal, Lincoln 5 shots (3 on target)

37mins Close! Salech hits the crossbar at close range after the defender clears Kellyman's effort from danger. Robertson curls wide moments later.

40mins 1-0 Own goal by Robertson accidentally shot in to our net.

SECOND-HALF: Cardiff improved and were the better side, but after Lincoln scored Lincoln looked the better side.

I thought we were lucky to only lose 2-1, Lincoln more than deserved their win in my opinion.

Refs been a f*cking joke and we got bullied 2nd half BBM didn't have an answer to there changes in formation once we scored to make it 1-1 but we never deserved anything today sadly they out battled us looked stronger individually, more direct and up for it more it as soon as they changed shape.

Lincoln deserved their win

Emptied the tank on Tuesday and it showed today. Not quite ourselves. We scored a great goal though and our top of the league for Xmas. That defence needs to be better.

Luckily for us the others around us lost today

Poor performance overall, run out of energy when they got their 2nd and never looked like equalising.

Only positive is Bradford and Bolton lost. 3 points clear at Christmas with a game in hand on 2nd. 4 points clear of 3rd.

That's not an excuse we made 6 changes the tank shouldn't be empty. The manager needs to change to suit other teams we can't win every game or get results playing the same way every game. We lost because they was better and changed shape after our goal we didn't do anything to nullify them that to me shows his inexperience we got bullied 2nd half because of the above but we go again

Come on Annis, that’s harsh. Goals turn games and we were unlucky there today. No way did they deserve over the full 90mins. Run out of gas in the end, but I have no worries with Lincoln over 46 games.

Missed rubin Colwill magic today . After we realised with a wonderful goal we looked to go on to win it. When we went behind again we were really poor and didn't look close to a goal. Lincoln shard it but overall top at Xmas is great we won't win all games

We wasn't good enough, we looked tired, pick our selves up and move on.

No complaints, Lincoln are 2nd for a reason and fully deserved to win.

No major drama as far as I'm concerned, we will bounce back and won't have many games as tough as that.

A few days off now, and we can come together for a now very important home game versus Exeter City on Boxing Day!

Hopefully, a very good crowd to watch our beloved Bluebirds concentrate on their League One quest!

We’ll always miss Nathan Trott, but Matthew Turner wasn’t responsible for either goal today and brought off a couple of good saves!

No complaints with Turners performance he did a more than decent job and a few great saves before half time. It just shows how special Trott is. Bagan going off hurt us too despite a very good start from us after the break

As dissapointing as today was I think if you'd offered us to be in this position back in August we would of all taken it, today was just another small bump in the road I'm sure we will bounce back friday

Credit to the Lincoln fans I thought they were outstanding didn't stop singing all game.

Poor from us today we only looked good after we scored, then when they took the lead again we were awful.

Still top of the league at Christmas I would've snapped your hand off for that at the start of the season.
