It took just 22 minutes for Aston Villa to sell out their 8,901 ticket allocation for their away trip to Tottenham in the FA Cup next month.

Loads of Villa fans in this area and they are a huge club, a lot of people outside the Midlands don't realise how big they are.

They see them as a big club but don't realise how big, that's my point.

United , Liverpool
Everton , City
Newcastle , Sunderland
Leeds
Sheffield Weds , United
Derby , Forest , Leicester
Coventry
Wolves , Villa , West Brom , Birmingham City
Stoke
Norwich , Ipswich
Arsenal , Spurs , West Ham , Chelsea, Palace
Southampton , Pompey
Some huge clubs there but even Derby , Coventry are bigger clubs than us
Aston Villa are the United, Liverpool of the West Milands , Wolves next in line , then Birmingham and West Brom
We have missed the boat unfortunately, it would take us 15 years of top flight football and winning things to even begin to be considered any sort of major club in this country
Thats unlikely to happen let's be honest

And I think Boro , Burnley and Bolton are bigger clubs than us too

I’d add Fulham Preston and Middlesbrough to the mix as well.
