Former Cardiff City man James Collins is Lincoln City's top goalscorer in the league this term, but the forward will miss Saturday's game having suffered a long-term knee injury earlier this month, that is set to rule him out for the remainder of the campaign.
Another former Bluebird in Lincoln City's ranks is midfielder Dom Jefferies. Dom was with the Bluebirds until U14 level before joining Newport County, where he completed his scholarship. Spells with Salisbury and Brentford came, but it was with Gillingham that Dom really broke into the First Team in a professional side. Jefferies transferred to Lincoln City during the summer of 2024. He suffered some injury troubles himself at the start of the current campaign, but has since played five times after returning to action in early November. Dom's brother, Isaac, a talented young winger, is out-on-loan from the Bluebirds currently with The New Saints.
