Biancheri on loan in January

Not saying this is true but it's doing the rounds, I think it's the kind of signing we would be likely to look at fits the profile of player bbm likes and knows the club already as he was here for a while as a youngster

That would be a good shout, and as much as Robinson likes it here, he was non existent last night against chelsea to slow,
a young hungry forward would be a good addition.

Fits well with the BBM way of playing and age - the lad has played 8 G and scored 4 G with 3 A so far this season U21's MU .

Someone I thought we might have gone for in the summer.

Would make sense. He's young and can either play out wide or as a striker.

I expect BBM will be asked about it this morning.

Thing is murphy has a habit of bringing in youngsters and improving them, or do you think this cannot be done with this player? ?.

We do need another striker, if Robinson or Salech gets injured we've got nobody to cover

I don’t get this ‘Robinson non-existent’ stuff! :?

He’ll never be a defender, but he puts a shift in, and scores some very important goals; ironically, his trade! :ayatollah:

I like Robinson not talking of getting rid chelsea game he did nothing about 5 touches i was just saying a young hungry striker would' nt go amiss i know Robinson pops up with goals but is not a 90 minute man r

Strange, me and you seem to be agreeing a lot these days - you're spot on.

I get why Robinson started on Tuesday, he has a good record against Chelsea.

But not much argument to start him in the league, Salech is better. Of course he can come off the bench to provide big moments - like at Stevenage.

But having another option would help us a lot. Biancheri is different to both Salech and Robinson so it's a move that would make sense. But I'm guessing we would tell United that he'd either play out wide or be a sub, because Salech will remain first choice.

Nothing wrong with agreeing
i don' t set out to shoot you down on every post you put out we are both city supporters and you were more sure about murphy than anyone on the forum so hats off to you but I feel we could do with a young hungry striker, salec will probably be injured or red carded sometime this season,
and Robinson does not have 90 .minutes in his legs.

Could it be a possibility that robbo might move on in January due to wanting more game time hence the reason we're pursuing Biancheri

For the record I think Robinson going would be a bad move for us so I hope he stays, that kind of quality off the bench late in games will win us plenty of points this season

Robinson still has a part to play this season - needs to stay even if we get another striker in .

There in lies the problem, we alk want to keep him as a super sub but robbo does not want to be on the bench every week.
We all know he still has a lot to offer especially from the bench but every time he starts from the off he some how seems ponderious and he does not have 90 mins in his legs, it's a dilemma for murphy .

IMO we need a striker in the Salech mould so if he does get injured we don’t need to alter the way we play.
Plus a left back.
