Atmosphere against Leeds

Wed Dec 17, 2025 3:27 am

I thought it was good tonight and has been on a number of occasions at the CCS.

But I was 14 at the time of the Leeds game.Probably only the promotion games against Scunthorpe and Shrewsbury and the game when Yeovil had a flair possibility when we were going for promotion against Brentford and Chesterfield were the games I had experienced Ninan park at its best

But the atmosphere against Leeds that date was something else don't think I' ve experienced something so partizen. Was probably one of the last games in UK where fans effected the away team.

Don't remember anything like that
Ones that stick out were

Playoffs v stoke
Playoffs v Bristol Bob bank forced Scott Murray to stop getting chalk on his boots
Top of table clash against Birmingham think it was Aug 2007

Just wondering what games we had that sort of atmosphere in the past

That Leeds cup game for me is the stand out since I have been going since 1992.

The play-off semi against Leicester for me. People often say the "atmosphere was electric" but at this game it really was. You could feel the tingling on your skin and that was before a ball was kicked.
