I thought we matched them well ,yes there finishing quailty showed through in the end , but we passed it well. Never gave up .

Like I said in my post, we stuck to our style which really pleased me.
Could have easily gone to a low block which most EFL teams do in the cup against PL teams.

They were flattered we gave them the 1st goal with lawlor mistake there second goal was deflected off bagan and altered the angle of the ball for trot, there 3rd well we were pushing for and equaliser and got done.

Thought it was a great showing by the team tonight. I hope they take heart that they held their own for most of the game. The TV commentators all praised City and thought that, if they continued to play as they played tonight, that they would certainly get promoted. Hope they play as well against Lincoln on Saturday.

We went into HT the better team - The Chelsea subs made the difference 2nd half .

When they brought on the two out wide at half time costing 94m between them I knew they was worried but let's be honest they would be the game changers Vs any side in our League so we done ourselves proud either way
