"Will Fish had a nasty collision with the boards at the side of the pitch and a gash to his head, but he’s pretty tough and more often than not he declares himself fit!

“Ollie Tanner is back for his first day of full training today, so that will be good for him. Gabriel Osho is also back in partial training, so that’s good news on his foot injury, where there’s no fracture and we can build him back up quickly as well."

"I don't think the stadiums in League One have felt an away support like it for a while.”

"I am not just saying that. We have been to different grounds and all the home supporters say the away support from our people is incredible.”

"You always want to give them what you feel they deserve and luckily [at Stevenage] We could.”

Brian Barry-Murphy has denied reports in the Swedish press that Cardiff City had made contact over the potential signing of winger Camil Jebara, but admitted he is aware of who the player is."I can never lie, I know who he is," Barry-Murphy said when asked about interest. "I know who he is, but again, he's not one of our players.”

Asked if reports that Cardiff had made contact over a potential move in the new year, Barry-Murphy responded: "That's not the case."

“Doncaster’s recent form might not be what they’ve wanted," Brian began. "But they’re a highly technical team who play good football.

"For us, going away to a game like Stevenage on Tuesday, you very quickly have to refocus on today’s session, and that will lead you very nicely into Saturday and you won’t have any problems.

"The challenge for our players again is to find consistency and not take any day for granted. If that remains the case, we’ll be fine.”

Following four successive victories in League One, the Head Coach reflected on recent weeks as City seek continued improvement in performances.

“I think we have to show over the course of the season that we are improving in the different challenges that we face," he continued. “Stevenage are a very good team, especially in their home stadium, so for us to play so well was very satisfying and I think we are making progress in that area.

“We’re constantly trying to improve all aspects of our game, and that is a very important part of competitive football at every level.

"The more that our players are exposed to that type of challenge, you want to hope that they will improve. By training so hard and so often, we’re seeing clear signs that we are.“

“I’m very pleased with the performances, I feel like we’re in a good place. Obviously we believe that we can improve a lot, we’re very pleased with each result and performances for large parts, but there’s still a lot that we can take from it to improve.

"We believe that we will get stronger as the season goes on and that remains our objective."

Ryan Wintle :

“We go game by game, and thankfully we’ve won the last four, so let’s keep it going,” Ryan began. “I think the other night at Stevenage, people would say that it’s a tough place and it wasn’t a pretty game.

“We dug in well and then the quality showed at the end when Callum [Robinson] came on and scored with a great finish.

“The belief is there that as long as we do the hard stuff and the dirty stuff that teams are going to try, then our football will show and we’ll win the game.

“Everyone is going to have their own way of playing. We’ve got to play the way that’s going to get the best out of our players and that’s the way we’re playing at the minute.

“I’m loving it, with the manager everyone has to be ready. We’ve got players even if you go out of the team – look at Robbo not playing and scoring goals even when he does come on.

“Everyone wants to play, it’s our job and it’s just about not getting too down when you’re not playing, but when you are really enjoy it and make sure that you give it everything so that you can enjoy it and keep playing every week.”

“I was vice skipper to Joe Ralls before so I’ve had the role of wearing the armband,” he continued. “This season we all voted for who got the captaincy, but whoever gets it we’d all like to think we’re leaders, so it doesn’t matter so much when we stick together as a team.

“There are eleven of us out there and we all do our best. Every game we’re going into hoping to get the win.”

BBM : “ OLLIE TANNER “

"There's obviously a huge disappointment when he suffered the injury he did at Wimbledon but, at this time of the year when the games are coming so thick and fast, to have somebody of his calibre coming back into the squad is very much like a new signing for us.

"If we could recruit Ollie Tanner in the window in January, we would be over the moon, so to have him come back into our squad available for selection in January would be massive for us."

Barry-Murphy urged caution with the winger’s reintegration but said Tanner is feeling “very good” as his workload increases.

Centre-back Gabriel Osho is also edging closer to a return. The 27-year-old, who injured his big toe in last week’s 5-1 EFL Trophy defeat to AFC Wimbledon, is back in partial training and could be available within a fortnight.

“There’s no fracture, which is great news,” Barry-Murphy added. “If things continue to go well, that two-week timeframe is realistic.”

Ronan, Omari and Isaak come into the starting XI!

Callum Robinson isn't rewarded with a start after his midweek heroics and admission that he is less than happy about being on the bench, but Omari Kellyman gets another opportunity to impress in that No.10 role.

It's Calum Chambers who captains the side at centre-back, alongside Will Fish at the heart of defence.

Alex Robertson is Ryan Wintle's partner for this one, the Australian getting a little run of games together and is improving with each passing week.

Cian Ashford seems to have that right-wing berth nailed down under Brian Barry-Murphy, while fellow academy grad Isaak Davies starts on the left.
