Cardiff City reportedly interested in winger

Cardiff City have made initial contact over a potential move for highly rated Swedish winger Camil Jebara, according to reports in Scandinavia.

The 22-year-old, who is contracted to IF Elfsborg until 2027, enjoyed an impressive loan spell at Kalmar FF last season, scoring twice and providing eight assists in 27 Allsvenskan appearances.

His performances have not only boosted his profile but also seen his underlying data catch the eye of several clubs across Europe, according to Swedish outlet Expressen.

They also claim that Cardiff have asked about the player as they assess wide options ahead of the January transfer window.

Jebara’s pace, creativity and strong statistical output are understood to have marked him out as a player with significant potential.

Kalmar are thought to be keen to keep him, but any opportunity to move to the UK is expected to appeal strongly to the winger.

The last signing they made from Sweden, Yousef Salech, has adjusted incredibly well to life in the Welsh capital, with the striker leading the scoring charts in League One this term.
