Alex Chilowicz has been appointed referee for Rovers’ clash with Cardiff City on December 13.

The United States official has taken charge of 16 matches this term, with the majority coming in Sky Bet League One. He has issued 53 yellow cards and two red across those games.

This will be his second outing of the season refereeing a Rovers game, having taken charge of the 3-1 win over Bradford City in September.

He has handled Rovers on four occasions in total since arriving in England in late 2023, after refereeing in Major League Soccer.

Of the four games, Rovers won two and drew one.

Chilowicz will be assisted by Samuel Fudge and Marvyn Amphlett on Saturday while James Durkin has been assigned fourth official duties.
