Callum Robinson:

"I think it was my first touch!" Callum began. "It's always nice to help the team. That's what it's about, because it's going to be a long season. When I come on the pitch, I just want to try and score goals, do what I do and try to help the team get the win.

"I think the manager, Brian, is like that - he wants to win every game. We're top of the league, and listen, we would have taken a point after winning our game in hand on Saturday. But, we're at the top, and I think that's why. If it's there to try to be won, we don't just try to hold out.

"Every player wants to be out there, and everyone is going to play their part. It's perfect timing; there are going to be a lot of fixtures coming up, so we need to put ourselves in a good place before those games come."

Robbo was full of praise for the 1,363 travelling fans who made the long journey to Hertfordshire in difficult weather conditions, and more than played their part to help the Bluebirds on their way to three points.

He said: "They've been great all season, so it doesn't surprise me, the numbers that they've come in today. Every away game, they've been great, and we just try to put on a performance for them.”

"Especially with the long journey - the bridge is closed, my old man was saying! They've come a long way, and they'll have a long journey back, but we've tried to make the journey back a little bit quicker for them and a little bit more enjoyable.

"That's what it's about. They've been with us all season, every away game we're coming with numbers, and all we've tried to do is get wins for them on the road. We've done quite well."

Glad he is still at the Club - Still has a part to play this season .

It's a shame really. Robbo desperately wants to play and he has shown that if he does get on he will score but maybe not as often as Salech. It seems to make sense to let them both play - though I'm not sure how much that could impact negatively elsewhere on the pitch. But I trust BBM to make the right call.

Thing is bagan ashford and willock are just getting used to putting in the crosses for salech,
if it's callum in the middle he' s not prolific in the air so tactics have to change.

I love Robbo he loves this club and is passionate he celebrates every player who scores like he has just scored, a great team player and important to us this season and next if promoted. he knows where the goal is. I just like his passion a big smile when he scores and when we win

I agree with that, just saying we will have to switch how we play if robinson plays.

100% with you. Can't fault his passion for the Bluebirds

I'd be surprised to see him at 10. He is a centre forward who isn't the mobile lad that made his career, so can't go wide or drop into midfeild as he doesn't run enough or engage in contact.

Love it or not BBM has his way. CR is YS's backup or strike partner when we are going for it late on.
