Referee rating - marks out of ten

How do you rate the referee tonight?

I'm going high and saying nine.

I had my doubts before the game because he normally referees at a lower level but I thought he was excellent.

I would give him a 7, should have booked more Stevenage players. Certainly much better than I expected though.

Yeah, maybe I'm being generous because I didn't expect him to be any good and he was better than I expected.

I gave him an 8 as he was wise to their tactics from the off. The only real fault for me was when Fish ended up hitting the advertising boards at full throttle and he didn't even give a foul
