Stevenage may have got results up to now, but my god they are awful to watch.
Only one team wanted to play football and it was us.
It's not a game that will live long in the memory.
Callum Robinson's goal was brilliant and deserving to win any match.
This is a huge win to put us four points clear at the top.
Pleased that we didn't let them bully us and stuck to our gameplan.
And well done to BBM, made the right substitutions again.
A massive, massive win.
My MOTM was Alex Robertson

Very well done to the lads They needed to grind that one out

Stevenage are a horrible horrible team to play against. Very physical and dirty.
Not many goal chances but Robinson took his chance very well.
Back four, Wintle and Robertson all played very well.

That will do very nicely thank you !!! 3 points and a clean sheet

Stevenage are a well drilled but poor side. Great win in difficult circumstanes. 4 point gap now. Robinson class finish, what a good goal.

Great win Ned and we deserved it. Another 3 points Saturday now

That's the killer here for the rest of the league. We handled relatively calmly long percentage ball after long percentage ball

As much as we rate Lawlor that was 100% the right call to bring Chambers back in!! Fish went the wars as well but it shows our squad can mix it with the different challenges in this league and I think BBM has worked out the combination to play against the different opposition. Can't wait to see us play Bolton home and Bradford away to see how this squad has evolved.

How the hell are these in the top half of the table.
Sh*t is putting it politely.
They created nothing.
Just parked 3-5 players upfront and defended from front to back.
They should consider rugby with this and their dirty tackling tactics.
Then they might actually be good at something

There fans a shocking lot and those that chose to turn up half empty stadium
We should make sure when they turn up at cardiff in a few weeks time we show them what a crowd is .

Would like to give bbm a big pat on the back, he could of easily decided with 10 minutes to go that a point would be acceptable but he rolled the dice went more attacking and it paid off big time, the cardiff city steam roller is picking up speed once again

The subs were perfect attacking without being reckless. You can see why Stevenage are so high up the league. It was like playing a Warnock team

Dull game with only 2 shots on target - Both from Us : Best defence got beat by the Best attack to this point
Good Win

What an excellent win, away from home mid-week!
Stevenage clearly play to their strengths, which is to spoil; I can't fault it to be honest. Not all teams are going to high-press or have silky passing. Revel has them well drilled.
I'd have taken a point from about 60mins, so to get 3 is a great result. As someone said, they don't concede many and you can understand why!
They'll have to be more pragmatic as the season goes on as they have 1 win in 8 at the moment; I expect them to plummet.

The morning after and I hope our supporters got back home safely.
Its very clear why Stevenage are difficult to score against specially on top of their game and they were last night. Their attacking line is very weak and it look like to me they tried to score on the break.
The only team that look like scoring was us. It could have been a different game if say Salech took his chance. That would have forced to make Stevenage attack and I believe we would have picked them off. It turned out one of those games that would be won with one piece of quality. Up stepped Robinson and that was it. A deserved win.

What an insult to Warnock team. He had a forward line of Hoillett, Mendez Laing and Zahore who destroyed Villa, Leeds amongst others by playing fast attacking football that took us to the top of the Championship at this roughly stage of the season. So many people forget this and choose to concentrate when we had our backs against the wall in the Premier.

Horrible journeys in both directions but worth it to see that winner from Robbo. Our fans were fantastic, theirs weren't. They were trying to bully us all over the park but once they realised we were not going to let them, they had nothing to offer - don't think Trott made a single save? I really don't think I could watch what they served up on a regular basis and the size of the home crowd seems to suggest they don't want to either... Can't believe the ref didn't even give a foul for Fish ending up flying into the advertising boards at full throttle after he was shoved by their player. Otherwise thought the ref handed theit tactics very well and was pretty decent. Great three points on what could have been a really difficult night.

This was a great win for us. Once again 70% possession but didn't create many chances and we've seen before where we dominate the game and the other team break away and score. Great finish by Robinson who will probably start next time out instead of Salech who, personally, I don't think is good enough for us. If a cross is right on his head he'll get it but if not he won't go to it, his positioning is awful. And that missed header!!!!!!!!.......

Arrogance. Just like Wrexham fans last year.

I actually agree with you on this.
Saw people before the game saying "only a win is acceptable". Seem to be judging club size instead of actually looking at the facts, Stevenage hadn't lost at home before last night.
That's why it was a brilliant win. We all saw how tough they made it for us.
I swear some people think we should just turn up and we'll win every game.
Part of me thinks it's because they wrote BBM off when he was appointed because of their obsession with experienced managers so are trying to find a way to criticise him if we don't win a game. The neutrals are all saying how much of a brilliant job he's doing.
Not talking about Des specifically, but a number of posters.

I will talk about him specifically. He’s like the wind, changes opinion constantly. Up and down on BBM and the club. It’s like it’s a parody account.
As a fan of a small club in the championship we regularly get fans like Des from other clubs.

Its a weird game
Donny played great stuff and flirting in the relegation zone, then Stevenage's brutalist (nothing wrong with it) in playoff position.
