My mate’s sister was the trainer for the Mercedes engineers crew for Hamilton’s car. (He obviously had his own PT).
He was widely loved by all of his team and Tulshi met him a number of times and said he was great and his media portrayal was unfair. He spent about 15k buying beers for the volunteers at Silverstone pretty much every year.
Even with that being said he won me over with the way he was about his dog.

Yeah he comes across very different to that.
I think it’s similar to Andy Murray maybe. Elite athletes need to have a certain focus to them and that can be seen as arrogance.
