“I was really pleased with the performance. I thought we controlled the game for long spells, created good chances, and were really pleased at the end with the reaction to conceding the second goal, seeing out the game in such a comfortable fashion.
It’s a great day for us all. We had the ball for good periods, found our creative players in forward areas and scored some brilliant goals.
I thought the subs coming on brought a freshness to the game. It allowed us to increase our intensity with the ball. We started to get the ball to Cian Ashford and Isaak Davies and gave them service. Cian looked dangerous, and obviously, Isaak had the final say in the game.
Naturally, Salech is dangerous in the box, and our players are aware of where he moves so that we can find him with good crosses. We saw that today, it was really evident.”
