I was disappointed with him. He will rightfully take the plaudits for his superb goal, but moments later, he was too lazy to track their full back to set up their second goal.
This is my concern with some of our youngsters. Davies thought he had done his bit with the goal, but failing to do his defensive work nearly cost us the win. It was lazy by Davies and it isn't good enough.
Hopefully BBM has a word with him and reminds the team to keep their standards up and keep working until the final whistle.

I don't think he is a wide forward. He is a striker playing on the wing who like all of them, is expected to track back.

I get what you're saying as it stood out to me but it was in their half & they should never have been allowed to get near the goal when they did, our defence switching off at times worries me a lot more. That & the fannying about at the back.

Don’t be too hard on him, he was also carrying a slight knock, he had a swollen ankle all week and was meant to play as striker against Wimbledon but wasn’t risked.

They are are young defence in the main, learning their trade (apprentices if you like) I am confident they will improve
