" A great and deserved win "

Sat Dec 06, 2025 2:30 pm

That's a great win, and totally deserved in my view.

We controlled the majority of that game and passed the ball very well.

Huddersfield scored two goals but they didn't test Trott much otherwise. But they have some great players and will be top six, don't be fooled by their league position.

So it's a great win.

Two great finishes by Salech and a brilliant goal by Davies.

Should have even been more than 3-2.

But that's now three goals scored in each of our last three league games.

I thought Kellyman was very good but Salech has to be MOTM for his goals.

Now onto a big game at Stevenage on Tuesday :bluebird:

Great win, all teams ‘bust a gut’ against us, when are we going to wake up to the short corner :banghead: :bluebird:

Not just for his goals either, his flick on for Davies' goal took out 2 of their players & it wasn't the first time he did it.

A good win Ned. Looked very comfortable in large spells but makes me a bag of nerves with the back line tappy stuff that costs us goals to much at times. Glad he made changes on 60 minutes we was crying out for them for ten minutes before that really. Massive game midweek now if we win it will open up a decent lead for us for now :bluescarf:

Thought we played some lovely stuff today and thoroughly deserved the win, you can see we have the potential to blow teams away, my only small gripe is we sometimes look to casual at the back and switch off leading to us conceeding silly goals

Great win, that was a tough opponent but we passed the test and deserved it.

It's early days I know but I'm starting to get very excited by what BBM is building here.

Our bench was soooo strong today and that's without Colwill, Tanner or any new recruits come January. Very good times ahead!!!

Some great stuff.

There are a few posters not happy they aren’t gonna get their moaning in tonight.

It was a positive post about a great win.

What I said is true. You don’t need to comment.

A great team performance and in my view our best of the season so far.

Some of the triangles in midfield were great to watch throughout the game. We defended from the front closing down Huddersfield and some fantastic interceptions and tackles all over the pitch.

Some maybe surprised when reading this but credit where credits due, Salech was brilliant today. He took his goals well, his positioning in and outside the box was great, his flick one were spot on and today he actually bullied the CB's rather than being bullied. Well done Salech, keep it going.

Equally, you could (probably will) argue that you didn’t need to add the (quote you) “ few posters not happy they aren’t gonna get their moaning in tonight” comment in to raise the topic either

Just saying, like!

Let’s just enjoy the win and enjoy the gap, whilst your ‘other team’ give the ‘Jacks’ a lifeline!

We get a bit too cocky at times. There were moments when we appeared to be playing ourselves in a training session; we were so dominant.
It's quite technical, and my nerves get the better of me at times. Sometimes we can just hoof it, but it's not the way, and i am having to get used to it

We all know who they are.

Neither did you need to put your nose in but you do on a regular basis to get involved which has nothing to do with you, the guy has commented on a lot of my posts so for a change i will comment on his as he and you comment about my negativity,
and as regards lets enjoy the win that's why I told him to give it a rest trying to rile people up perhaps you should tell your buddy to calm down like I did, I was simply telling him the same enjoy the result rather than trying to stir things .

I’ve taken ‘stick’ for saying it myself in recent days, mate!

Neil knows me well enough to know we’re ’cool’ overall, and I guess my point really is that after a win like that keeps us at the top with a nice gap, isn’t the time to be bringing it up so readily. There’s enough negativity already on here!

Great win (in the end) though and looking forward to Tuesday now! :ayatollah:

Tuesdays game will be the biggest challenge this season pre chelsea to get a result in stevenage's back yard would for me ,be better than beating chelsea .

You could see them setting up for the pull back to the edge of the box. They put someone infront of Ashford who blocked him moving out to the ball, it was obvious what was coming.
