The draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup took place on Friday.

The top two from each group will progress to the knockout stages, along with the eight best third placed teams.

42 nations have already qualified with the remaining six places to be taken by the four UEFA play-off winners and the two FIFA play-off winners - these matches take place in March.

The FIFA World Cup takes place in the USA, Mexico and Canada from 11th June 2026 to 19th July 2026.

Inglewood is in L.A. & it's the SoFi stadium that the 2 L.A. NFL teams use and is supposedly the most expensive stadium ever built (so far). I am surprised that they used Inglewood rather than L.A. though, at least it's close to the airport & has become more "gentrified" over the years but is still a rough area.

The draw was joke and the YMCA at the end just rounded up how embarrassing it was.
