BBM was asked today what he'd mark himself out of ten so far this season:
"Six, is that too low? Six and a half then.
I think I can do a lot better."

Fair play Total Respect to BBM on this
Originally 9, then went as low as 4 , then Northampton say 8, My View

I agree - I believe he can do better. Its great he has the self awareness to realise that. It's a good character trait.

8 from me top of the division but loosing to burton and drawing with port vale etc otherwise could have been higher

8/10 for me.
10/10 for improving players but 6/10 for the rigid tactics.
Having the best players is normally a good recipe for success, and he is making the players better.

I'd say 10/10.

I'll say 9/10 really impressed with him so far I've only taken a point off as now and again his fiddling with the center backs frustrates me but overall best manager we've had in ages and stand by my statement back in August I think he will get us to the Premier league before his contract runs out

8.5 to 9. I'd say similar to others it's the constant tinker that is sometimes making us inconsistent I feel

I'm with worcester.. this bloke is a new dawn.

It's a 8 from Me and it might go up to 9 by the end of the year as this is going to be a very important part of the season .

9 out of 10 for me. Very impressed

Reminds me of a reply I used to a question in an interview as a young man (tongue in cheek I might add) interviewer “what is your greatest weakness? My answer “I never make mistakes, it is a terrible affliction”

I think he would be doing a lot better if he has a bigger squad.

A strong 8 out of 10 for me.
He's taken us from a side that was in free fall, playing terrible football with no identity. To a team on the up, playing great football, and he's done this with hardly any signings, using a lot of players we already had here.
Imagine what he could do if Tan was willing to spend a bit more?
The only negative is some of the subs he makes and when we haven't switched up tactics in games when the game plan wasn’t working.
Top manager, hopefully he stays for a good few years.

Any and every coach that wants to improve and be the best they can have to self reflect and be honest with themselves, the fact he’s said 6/10 only bodes well.

Disagree with that, as a ‘
smaller’ squad has its advantages, for example more togetherness, more personalised coaching, and more opportunities for those up to the levels BBM requires
It’s tough to give a mark out of 10, as to get a 10 would surely involve a 100% record on the pitch, which we don’t have?
Personally, I’d give BBM a positive
7 or 8/10 to this point, as he has done an unexpectedly great job with a very young squad with one hand tied behind his back from the start. Results have been good overall, and our style of play positive in the main
However, as BBM concedes, there is always room for improvement, particularly changing in-game tactics, which only bodes well going forward for the rest of this season and beyond
I see a bright future for BBM and this group and a few (2 or 3) strategic incomings of high or higher standard should suffice to get us across the line for ‘
Objective One’, I.e. promotion back to the Championship

I stand by it.
Top of the league and the only EFL team in the last eight of the Carabao Cup. Couldn't ask for more.
Unlike you, I don't embrace negativity and make stupid comments like when you said he's inviting pressure when we're top of the league

I agree, thanks for being one of the resident clowns.

8 for me, turned around a sinking rotten ship and has us sat top of the league.
I'd like to see us keep a settled back 4 more often. I can accept the lack of consistency in our performances when the squad is full of a lot of youngsters.

8 out of 10 for me. Made football enjoyable again and ensured we are top of the league and not where Plymouth are. We sometimes forget how bad we were last season.

BBM has never deviated from day 1 that he’s happy with the squad he’d been left with and wants to work with the talent at the club
In fairness he’s done brilliantly with it too, I have 100% trust in him if and when he wants too add to it
Tan must think he’s lucked out massively, a coach who’s happy to get all the high earners off the payroll and coach all the kids, then get them to the top of the league.
Nothing less than a 9 for me. The guys top of the league without spending anything and getting god knows how much money off the payroll
