I'm from Taunton and have always supported Cardiff. Does that mean you have no respect for me?? My Dad and brother still live in Taunton and they support City too, does that mean you have no respect for them either???

Going back to the original comment, I just don't understand how ALL Leeds fans in south Wales can be tarred with the same brush? Yes, I'm sure there are plenty of Leeds fans in South Wales that have never even been to Elland road, but I know plenty that have and have always supported Leeds and have different connections to Leeds.

I was assuming the South Wales Leeds fan had no connection what so ever with Leeds only the fact that they were successful in the 1970's. Thats why I was disappointed that he supported Leeds.

I respect anyone that has a connection with a club for any of the following reasons.
They live there.
They used to live there.
They have family from there.
They studied there.
They worked there.

I'm glad you reconsidered your statement! (although I'm not convinced personally by the studied/worked there options! For me it's about living/used to live there or having a family connection from there! I would however not mind if anyone studying/working in Cardiff or Cardiff area started following the City!

Claire, I would normally agree with you on the studying/working options until I moved away from home and now for some bizarre reason I find myself keeping an eye out for Aberdeen results and go now and again with blokes from work. Football is a buzz and you need to get your fix every so often!!!!
