These are the apparent wage bills for EFL One this current season…
Absolutely crazy top three, if this correct!

According to the internet; hence the question mark!
Personally, I would be surprised, if it was
this season, but not totally shocked!
What are your thoughts?

I don't think that would be far off, we still have a few high earners still at the club, wasn't ours North of 20 million last season so with all the players let go, I think that number is pretty close

I think those figures are for last year

Sure I remember the same figures being posted last season and commented on the post back then "dalman would still say tans putting in 1m per month" which would mean we have no income at all more or less except tans and 1.7m from the championship in total.

According to a few sources we had the 7th highest wage bill in the championship last season costing us 20.9 million
How true that is I don't know but multiple news sources quoted the same

I would be interested where they get theses figures from.Guess work in my opinion as the club is hardly going to give this info out unless there is a legal obligation to.
The last accounts to be published relate to the season before last and the players wages according to the accounts were £19million. As we have subsequently released many high earners the figure of £13million seems high.

So no gate receipts, shirt sales or other income whatsoever except the 2 you mention? I'm no fan of Tan etc. but come on, at least have some basis in real life.

I'm sure I seen this on 1 of the efl pages on twitter.

What’s crazier is that there are multiple premier league players earning that on their own.

This is a wales online article from the end of last season, obviously take it with a pinch of salt but sky ports and a few other outlets quoted the same details

If you go off what is printed in outgoings to what dalman said 1m per month then so it seems last season

Accurate or not, I'm unsure why you'd be shocked? Looks about right, doesn't it? Luton were prem 2 years ago so I am actually shocked that figure isn't more.

That's what I was on about. Last season we got quoted the same ISH so there's no way on this earth the wage bill can be the same surely with most areas of youngsters coming in bar a few others already there. Although my point was dalman states tan is putting in 1m per month if that was the case then there's literally a few million coming from other incomes if he is propping up the rest which I don't believe for one minute he putting that much but personal opinion. Although there guess figures online I assume but I'm only going off that

That would just be the budget for the players On top of this would have the coaching staff and the other 60 employees the club has Cost of running the business on top and the expenses I have seen figure in the past where the academy structure cost approx £1m a year too run ( not sure if that is correct ) I can see how our club is running at a loss but if it is a £million a month needed as a top up who really knows

Turnbull, Robertson, Robinson, Chambers, Wintle, NG to name a few will all be on decent wages. Probably why they ended up staying with us for this season.
