Best goal difference in the league too

As a rule of thumb, teams with the best goal difference tend to be top of the league.
The blips we’ve had make it a shame as we could be well clear with wins against the likes of Burton, but to be where we are shows we’re a team in the mix

Following poor results and disappointing performances against Bolton and Blackpool along with Peterborough knocking us out of the FAcup, where I thought we looked no better than a mid table team; We've got our 'mojo" back in the last couple of matches.
I guess we'll have to accept a few set back periods in this long season and hope we come through as promotion contenders.

I agree, if we were in the Champions League we wouldn't have done very well with those "loses" either.
As it is we are not in either so my comment is as pointless & as meaningless as yours.

Premier league is poor this year too.
Imagine if last year's champions lost a few and were mid table

If they'd ate under-cooked chicken, then we'd be nowhere near the top.
If Ojo, Kanga, Miete and Stephen Bywater were playing, we'd definitely be mid table.
If they turned up in cricket gear instead of football boots, Vincent Tan Out.
Etc...

Internationals have affected us; we've suffered injuries and fatigue as a result, but we should be alright for a while. Plus, Osho's opposing team assists have stopped, with him being dropped.
