I wasn’t at the game today for work reasons, but I kept up to speed as best I could. It sounded like a very good game and a very good performance today, and a result that sees the Bluebirds regain their position at the top of League One

Several players seemingly had their best games of the season, but it seems one stood out more than any other

Others may have a different opinion, but based on what I heard, I’m going for Ryan Wintle today!

I was going to go for Wintle.

But because my heart sank when he was in the team and he proved me wrong, I'll say Turnbull.

He was front footed, did a lot well and his long distance shot seemed to change the tide of the first half (even though we were already the better team).

Happy he proved me wrong.

Ashford for me thought he ran his balls off today forwards and his defensive work was outstanding. Thought he deserved his goal too

Tbf I thought some of his little touches were outstanding today. If u look closely at little flicks and touches he did at close control were quality

Very unfair comment I went for Lawlor but thought Robinson had a good game in a slightly different role. Always had a couple of players around him but managed to wriggle past them and set players up.

Well I thought it was funny and, sorry, but I agree with Llanrumney Bluebird. Howcan he get voted the M o M for a few flicks and touches?!?? And hardly any challenges and definitely no tackles. To be accurate I counted one touch in his 17 minute second half performance. Btw there is a seperate thread about overpaid L 1 footballers…. laughing all the way to the bank?!

Ashford for me. Goal, performance and effort; all 3 we haven't seen this season at once.

Feels very much like a confidence player. I hope he goes on a spurt of goals. He loves a January goal spree, doesnt he? (He's done it once.. )
