Ryan Wintle

He seems to be this generation's Joe Ralls but he was exceptional today....

His passing in particular was excellent, and I say that as not his biggest fan. I noticed BBM has gone heavy on his praise as well.

I still want to see a little more urgency from him but he had a good game.

I agree. My motm today, his passing was superb and we also look more solid with him on the pitch.

What does "this generations Joe Ralls" mean?

Id argue that Ralls was 3 or 4 times the player at the same age.

Wintle will always purr against these poorer teams. Get someone with a set of balls and he's vacant. Any of the top6 midfields all run through him.

Massive Ralls fan, but for some, he was never good enough, whatever he did.

I agree, nowhere near the same age for age player, but gets unfairly criticised

Nice interview of Wintle after the game, he spoke really well, as did Bagan (who made his 100th appearance today wow!).

Definitely 2 unsung hero's in this Cardiff City team. 2 workhorses who keep things relatively simple but are both very important cogs.

For all the criticism Bagan received on here about how he should be ready etc. I’m not sure he’s going to remain unsung for long especially with the quality of his delivery alongside his other qualities.

Tbf he has been outstanding a lot this season and consistently plays to a level where he's a contender for mom every game. Hopefully he can keep this going into championship next season if promoted as I think he loves the club as well
