Crowd definitely damaged by the rugby. We would have had more for the first home game in six weeks otherwise.
Didn't hear Mansfield much but I was in Canton and to be fair we were quite quiet until the last half an hour, then it was decent.

Mansfield fans were pretty good, sang for most of the game untill our second went in.

Credit to the Mansfield fans for singing so loud.
I was in the Grandstand and I thought the Canton stand only woke up after our second goal was scored.
I also noticed that a couple of Mansfield coaches appear to have taken the wrong route to the ground. I saw them crawling along in a long queue of heavy trafic from Western Ave, along Cardiff Road and Llandaff Road, through Canton around 2 to 2.30pm.
I walked that same route and overtook their coaches by foot and got to the ground before them.
Probably just made kick off!
Away team and supporters coaches normally use the Ely link road.

Well, hopefully that was a lesson well learned!

Shocking that. Putting a huge effort in to go away to Northampton and then watching Wales egg get obliterated instead of a City home match!
Can only think the egg tickets must've been £10 or it was a freebie.

after the game walking back down Sloper Road towards Ninian Park station noticed there was an officer every 20 yards or so either side of the road wouldn't have thought they were expecting any trouble

Absolutely brilliant Joff
Force club right next door to Forest and County and such a small club.

I thought the same and very surprised that Mansfield brought so many so I assumed that they had a tip off that Mansfield were bringing quite a crew wanting to make a name for themselves. They have turned out in the past at home games with us but never before come down here.

I saw the same - they were single officers spaced out looking for something or someone, not PC Plods in his tit helmet but very serious faces on them.
Obviously Mansfield rep goes before them...

Mansfield its self is a rough and tough Town.
And when Cardiff go there they always turn out.
They prophase intelligence that they were coming here, but once again got it wrong.
