Adrian Newey will become Aston Martin's team principal from the 2026 season with Andy Cowell taking on a new role at the outfit.
Newey will combine the job with the managing technical partner role he has held since joining the team from Red Bull earlier this year.

This is great news IMHO, as it puts an end to the ‘rumours’ that former Red Bull Team Principal, Christian Horner, won’t be returning to the paddock
Laurence Stroll is building a useful and coherent team at Aston Martin, and Adrian Newey is the best designer out there by some distance, so keeping him on board will be ‘key’ to their success!
