Kapakio is a winger

Sat Nov 22, 2025 7:29 pm

I've mentioned a couple of times this season I see kapakios future on the wing and the final 15 minutes today convinced me even more, he gave the Northampton back line a torrid time on a few occasions and with NG behind him we totally nullified there threat coming down there left

In L1 he is the direct wide forward we need.

In the championship, he is a wing back all day long. He is nowhere as poor a defender as some make out, but him and Perry closed their left down in the last 15 mins

Wouldnt be suprised to see Kellyman move into number 10 and Kpakio start as the winger if Rubin is out next game

How many assists has Kpakio got so far this season? Not sure of the exact amount but it has got to be impressive.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's already got more in 15 games than any other full back in this league will get all season.

Hats off to the guy!

It was a smart move by BBM as their left winger was dominating and Kellyman does as much defending as be does attacking; not much at all.

NG right back, Kapakio RW may be the play.

I agree definitely the way forward. NG and Kapakio teamed up well. NG looked solid and Kapakio dangerous going forward. Looked the most effective wide player., he makes things happen.

A Kpakio/Ng combo is definitely the way forward.
Changed the dynamics of the game completely yesterday.
Kellyman slipping into the middle is a decent shout.

My thoughts exactly. Kellyman to replace Rubin while he is out.
I just hope BBM goes along with this.

I like the sound of this. I think he's much more of a natural wide man than anything else we have and the rest are more 10s who like to come inside. Especially until Tanner comes back. It's no shock of the amount of assists he has and he would provide more crosses/opportunities for Salech. He's also a nightmare to tackle as he changes direction so quickly.

Might be from luck rather than design but I really do like the idea of a right side of Kaprio and NG and a left of Bagan & Willock. Then Ashford is more of a 10 than a wide player anyway and you've also got Kellyman, Robertson & J Colwill who could all potentially play the 10 role.
