Yes we did he was their Accademy player and joined us at 17-18 yrs old

Southampton at the time were one of the best academy's .

Talking to someone who watches academy and as knowledge of it I asked why only now seeing the youngsters he said reason we haven't seen youngsters prior to bbm is simply the managers wouldn't pick or play them? They've always been there but have been left to stagnate or just simply move on.... will never get a player like Bale play because as we've seen extremely talented youngsters are stolen from us at 14yrs by big clubs 4 or 5 in past 2 yrs...

I like the look of Pierce, shame he picked up that injury v Arsenal, but hope he'll recover soon and we see him make the odd first team aappearance this season...
