Aaron Ramsey has opened up on his future after tearing up his contract at Mexican side Pumas, revealing he is now seriously considering a move into coaching.

The 34-year-old, who hasn’t played since September due to yet again injurirs, saw his short-lived stint in Liga MX end in October after just six appearances. And his previous two years with Cardiff just nine starts.

While no official announcement has been made by Ramsey nor Pumas, the player is yet to confirm what the next step in his playing career looks like, with the ultimate goal of playing in next year's World Cup very much on his bucket list.

Ramsey believes and whats to play for Wales in the 2026 World Cup.

Asked about management, Ramsey replied.

“Absolutely, that’s the route I can see myself taking,” he said.

“I’m doing my Pro Licence now and I’ve really enjoyed the coaching I’ve done with Cardiff and Wales. It’s addictive.”

Ramsey also hailed Wales manager Craig Bellamy for inspiring him, praising his “incredible” man-management and tactical detail.

Speaking to talkSPORT, however, Ramsey admitted the experience last week has strengthened his desire to step into management, having already taken charge of Cardiff City for three games as interim boss last season.

Why can't he just accept he is knackered as a player? If Wales get to the World Cup putting him on the plane would be a wasted seat. Football is a harsh world and Bellamy needs to be brave and tell him he's finished. Bring him along as a coach or mascot if you have to.
