A few weeks ago when we lost to them by an odd goal it was all they're rubbish, bottom of the table etc. They've been impressive and made Stockport look ordinary tonight. Under achieving team, I think. This league is quite even.

Correct and people were also saying Stockport were mid table when we drew there away. I pointed out they'd be up there and they are.

By rights we should be almost mid table going by our results but teams are conspiring to help us stay near top!
It's stockport tonight. :P 3 nil :occasion5:

Peterborough definitely having a resurgence under Williams, they look a much better team now than a month ago

Well we shouldn't be. What a weird comment.

The table forms itself.

You're not stupid Allan, so I'm surprised you've said that.

Ned going on our resent results how many times could we have dropped down places and we didn't because teams around us failed to capitalise on our poor results? Just like tonight! ... musnt forget top 12 teams separated by 6 points so yes easily could have dropped to mid table.... may be a weired comment to you but while you might say like others the table never lies it doesn't tell the whole story...

Allan, my answer is the same. It's weird to say we are lucky to be where we are. We are where we are in the table because that's where we are.

Just like we deserved to be relegated last season.

I agree Worcester it’s one of the more absurd I’ve heard on here. It seems now not only do some take delight in our defeats but also wish we were lower down the table.
It is unbelievable Jeff.

I agree with allan we have had a lot of results gone in our favour when we have lost, and we could have dropped down the table, others around us have lost also, I have said to myself quite a few times that we have been very lucky we have remained in our position after loosing on a lot of occasions this season.

OK will refrase it we are fortunate to still be up near top of league due to other teams failing to take advantage of our results lately! Stockport last night is point in question? Like said table doesn't lie if want to use it as rationale for answer but that doesn't tell whole story never does.....

Monty not sure why people think other results doesn't matter to our league position ? Because that's what ned is saying find it strange really... as strange as my OP.

If we were mid table, the spout would be "we're lucky we aren't bottom 6"

If we were bottom 6, the spout would be "march against Tan"

Ever the pessimists. :sleepy2:

The league table does not lie. We are where we are.

We are top in most of the performance stats, or there abouts. We arguably could have had 5/6 penalties given for us, which arguably could have us 8 points clear. We have seen some Schmeichel-esque goalkeeping performances.... but lets not focus on any of the arguments that could better us.

Well SB. What club needs supporters like Alan. I would say shame he blocking a seat, but there’s plenty of spares to go round. lol.
