But my left field choice would have been Cullen. Gets a tough time off City fans and played very well.

We ran with the ball, Johnson Wilson brooks James all ran with the ball, the other games we have passed it to death hopefully as murphy was there tonight he takes a leaf of how to attack.

Thought Rodon was exceptional throughout.

A fabulous team performance, with fantastic individual displays by many, if not all.
Well done to Harry Wilson for a leaders role as captain and Joe Rodon was rock solid at the heart of the defence.
I also think the midfield pairing of Sheehan and Cullen deserve credit for stepping in. They looked stronger as the match progressed.
Finally, the team was superbly prepared and organised by Bellamy and his coaching team.

Honestly, Tuesday was one of those rare nights when you’d be hard-pressed to rate anyone below an eight. The whole side was at it from the first whistle — sharp, confident, and actually enjoying their football for a change. You could see it in the smiles during the game and at full-time.
Harry Wilson, taking the armband for the first time and helping himself to a hat-trick, was the headline, but it only worked because everyone around him put in a proper shift. Credit to the management too — we looked organised, hungry, and miles better for it.
So my vote goes to Team and Management. After a 7–1 like that, you can’t split them.

I would also give the referee a high scoring mark for the way he refereed the game, the best one we have had this season.
