2-on-1 every game; he isn't great at hiding his grappling, but in fairness, he is normally tag-teamed.
He needs someone near him with pace to give the other centre half something to worry about. Davies or Ashford gives us that. Otherwise, he is against 2 lumps and starts to lose his head a bit.
BBM needs to adapt or it's going to be a long, restless winter.

Id be tempted to play Robbo off Salech to pick up the pieces. He’s a proven goal scorer and would put a lot of the chances we get away. He’s could score 20 plus in this division

Robbo of a few years ago in terms of quickness, but importantly, movement would be a no-brainer, but i think we need raw pace to scare teams

100% He does
From the beginning of the season we all could see it

I agree Salech needs more players in around him, Rubin had to get in the box more and our wide men need to become a goal threat. I don’t think Ashford is the answer, he reminds me of Mason from a few years ago, neat and tidy but doesn’t provide a great deal of threat

I'd like to see Kellyman play off Salech, once willock is fit if we want to be more adventurous at home and go 4-4-2,

It doesn’t help that the refs back the defender every time he’s pulled about and fouled.
Must be a very frustrating season for him.

In my humble opinion Robbo doesnt really offer anything when he comes on, pace has gone, though Ashford was poor and why bring Turnbull on is beyond me. Blackppol done us good and proper

I think we should go 442 play salech and robbo from the start and get crosses in from the start Isaac and Ashford/ willock on wings come on BBM sort it out!!!!

He won't change the system sadly so far the only time he has changed it was Vs Bradford when we was well beaten and at home vs orient when he went 442 and we come back to win it with with balls actually getting crossed on the box from wide which we scored two off to win it. I don't understand why we always play the same formation with two wide on each side in row z at times yet pass it back to our goalkeeper after 8 more touches when we have the chance to lob it in the box it really does baffle me why we are playing so wide on each touchline if we are not giving service on crosses only tapping it from wing to wing for it to be stolen off us or back to the goalkeeper at times. It's bizarre. Things will have to change soon really as we have been sussed playing this way now for a few months. Another factor is what's the changes again come the next game

I’m with you on that. I don’t get Ashford at all. Too many times in too many games I see him so static, including yesterday. Just stood there when we have the ball about 10 ft away. He looks like he’s reffing a boxing match and just watching

I think Ashford likes the close quarters stuff you get centrally. I don't feel he excels in the open space of the flanks. I think he is an instinctive player who can make half a yard.
Similarly, I feel Davies wants to play off the shoulder rather than the flanks as his acceleration gives him the space for the shot.
Willock although slow, knows how to use the space of the flanks; he draws players in to beat, whereas Tanner sets them up to beat them normally inside but has the bulk to push past weaker defenders

Some of us have been saying this from the start of the season. We have two of the best strikers in this league, play them together from the start.

In this division why not go with 2 up top - Many a 2 up top at this club - Jay and Chops the best of late
