“ FOUR CARDIFF CITY PLAYERS “

Wed Nov 05, 2025 11:05 am

Rubin Colwill is one of four Bluebirds players called up, alongside brother Joel, Ronan Kpakio and defender Dylan Lawlor. Team-mate Isaak Davies, however, misses out.

I cant believe Harris has been picked over Isaac Davies tbh :bluebird:

I’d be shocked if Davies got in the team, and I’m a big believer that he has the potential to do well.

He simply hasn’t played enough, he is being gently built up by the manager, his explosive pace is clear but may be the reason he gets injured so regularly. Harris is what he is, but he’s playing consistently at a higher level where Davies can’t even hold down a starting spot.

Scrap that, I made assumptions Harris was playing more. Stats say he hasn’t so yeah, shocker he’s picked over Davies other than he does offer a 80-90 minute run around

Harris is a striker Davies is a winger.

Also, Harris’ last season at league one level he scored a goal every two games pretty much.

That's last season, this season he has been very poor, Davies still has a higher score rate than him this season and offers more of a threat than Harris does, just my opinion of course.

One is a striker the other a winger.

I think BBM mentioned that Isaac is a striker but he's had to play him out wide

Rubin 100% deserves to be in the squad.

Bellamy was at the Wrexham game and must have been impressed with what he saw, but really he should have been an automatic pick for the previous squads and wasn't for some reason.

Looks like Lawlor, Joel and Kpakio will always be in the squad because Bellamy likes them.

Honestly not sure Isaak Davies deserves to be there anyway, hasn't started regularly for us because Kellyman is ahead of him.

Both Harris or Davies don't deserve a call up on form

Isaac Davies looked absolutely knackered and could hardly run by the end of the Wrexham game and he came on at half time!

I work with a young lad who was in the academy with Rubin from a young age. He told me that Rubin was one of the youth that Bellamy was meant to have been bullying when he was at Cardiff in charge of the under 18's. Apparently wouldn't let him travel every time he was picked for the Wales youth teams all the way through. Just him. Seems he has a personal vendetta for some reason.

Good Luck to the lads - if they get game time hopefully none will come back with knocks .
